Screamland Santiago

Creative Direction, Environmental Graphics, and Signage

2025

I partnered with the architecture studio, Revel House, to create various environmental graphics and signage for Screamland Santiago - an indoor theme park facility in the Dominican Republic.

Following creative brainstorms with the team, we developed the "Screamland Space Academy" concept, designed to make guests feel as though they are stepping into a futuristic facility filled with state-of-the-art training equipment. We envisioned this as a mission-like-no-other, where a theatrical, monochromatic environment is brought to life by strategic pops of colour that designate various training zones and attractions. This monochromatic foundation, featuring light grey walls and bulkheads, ensures the zone colors remain the primary focus of the guest experience.

Design Execution and Environmental Graphics

The interior graphics played a key role in setting the stage and theming the space. I explored various creative directions, leading to a final design where graphics transition smoothly between colors, gradating throughout the space in a full spectrum of color.

Washroom Graphics

Giving the patrons a break from all the colours and visual noise, we designed the washrooms and graphics to be fully grayscale.
A simple wrap-around graphic ties the space back to the theme of looking out into space.

Regulatory & Signage

My work also included the design and rollout of ride pylon signs to identify attractions as well creating regulatory signs and height guide signs to ensure guest safety across all "training" modules.

Ride Wraps Design

Furthermore I designed custom vinyl graphic wraps for three of the park's rides.
