My husband and I decided to use the natural slope of our parents' backyard to beautify an area by their outdoor patio. They had a direction on the multi-step look of the waterfall and stone section. It took plenty of research, planning and experimentation to create this two-pump system.
We also found deer-resistant plant species to protect against the pesky visitors. A small patio-integrated pooling area had enough volume for a few comet goldfish - helping with insect control. To create a fully holistic experience, the night appearance as well as auditory effects were considered. (high intensity solar light and wind chime)
